Elle Mace
Elle Mace is a speaker, author and practitioner specialising in body image, disordered eating, body dysmorphia, weight and shape concerns, self-worth and ADHD. Combining psychological expertise with lived experience, Elle is a trusted voice on subjects that are often oversimplified, bringing clinical depth and a warm, relatable approach to conversations around mental health, wellbeing and our relationship with food and our bodies.
Elle is a qualified hypnotherapist and CBT, NLP and positive psychology practitioner, as well as a BACP-qualifying therapist and trainer delivering CIMSPA-accredited psychological courses across the fitness and sports industry. Her approach is anti-diet, evidence-led and non-moralising, exploring the biology and psychology behind why we eat, think and feel about our bodies in the way we do.
She is the author of Food Freedom, published by Penguin, host of More to Life and co-host of mental health podcast I’m So Triggered. Elle is also the founder of Elevate Festival, a Devon wellness festival raising money for MND awareness.
Alongside her clinical and educational work, Elle has delivered talks and training for organisations including Bloomberg, the NHS, Gymshark, Lloyds Bank and the Met Office, and works directly with schools and young people on body image. She is regularly featured across national press and has made numerous radio appearances for the BBC.
Straight-talking, warm and highly relatable, Elle is an engaging media contributor and speaker who can translate complex psychology and neuroscience into accessible, useful conversations. She is available for television, radio, podcasts, expert commentary, panels, speaking engagements, press features, brand consultancy and commercial campaigns across mental health, psychology, body image, wellbeing, fitness and ADHD.
