76 year old Gerald was picked up by the worlds press, featured in The New York Times and every major newspaper across the UK. Podcast and TV appearances followed on Gardeners World, James Martins Saturday Morning and as a regular guest on Stephs packed Lunch.

Hailed as the Veg King, Gerald landed a book deal and ‘Big Veg‘ was released as a handy month by month guide with tips on growing really big veg. Naturally!

Geralds modelling career kicked off with shooting ‘Off The Grid’; a campaign for Gucci and went on to work with McQ on their gardening clothing line ‘Grow Up’.
